With four full hearts, we would like to send our family, friends, and hundreds of new faces we’ve met along the road a very happy holidays. We hope for you a new year filled with health, happiness, and of course…wild adventures. The unwavering kindness, support, and encouragement we have received over the past three months has lifted and propelled us. If it were possible to express just how grateful we are to all of you, we would offer those sentiments a thousand times over. For now a simple thank you will have to suffice. We hope that you may realize how each of you has contributed to our restored faith in this nation and the confidence that people are inherently good.
We have made it back to our respective homes and families by air travel, conquering our total trip mileage in less than 10 hours. The northeast may hold our comfy beds….but this generous country has got our hearts.
with love and peace…and until the next adventure…

Hey guys! We’ve been keeping up with you guys and I have to tell you how PROUD of you we are! You girls did a really amazing thing. We even have patrons who come in and ask about you guys, people who were here that day you came by our library and gave us something positive to follow. I think you guys set a wonderful example for the possibilities that anyone can attain if they put their minds to it.
I’m glad you guys finally made it home, but I know you miss us and everyone else you met along the way.
Take care and God bless!

Congratulations Girls!! You are awesome! I met you in Carmel in the evening as you were waiting for a nice man to let you “camp” at his home. I was the “age grouper” triathlete that spoke with you. I wish I could have offered you all a warm dry place to stay with yummy treats but, my two teenage boys and little dog take up all of the room in our teeny tiny casita. So glad you made it! I was praying for you all. You are an inspiration!! Wishing you Health and Happiness in 2010!
